For your consideration we present our Rosario Leonardi Vintage Red Venetian Wedding Cake & White Freshwater Pearl Beaded Necklace. This piece is handmade by our artist, Lisa Leonardi very choosing the exact right wedding cake beads and accompanying white freshwater pearls to make this piece an automatic Family Heirloom. The beads are in excellent vintage condition and the pearls are from a very long standing relationship with a pearl farm in China where all our pearls have been sourced for the last 20 years. They are stunning. This piece is a handmade one of a kind. In fact, each bead in this necklace is its own one of a kind. These were made between 1940-1955 and are in pristine condition. My items of this caliber sell immediately. If you love it, I would encourage you not to wait. I have a process when combining old works Venetian Beads and pearls. First, I source vintage necklaces and harvest the beads, one necklace at a time. Once I have enough similar pieces with similar beads, I will cherry pick the best beads in a number of necklaces to choose the best ones that match and look as though they all came from the same piece. This red wedding cake necklace is the combination of 3 different red wedding cake necklaces that were made around the same timeframe in Murano. Then I choose THE best of the 3 and pull in the freshwater pearls as spacers. The freshwater pearls are between 6-10mm in size and are graduated so they will flow nicely with the beads. Believe it or not, this piece took an entire day to create-about 8 hours. It’s stunning. Don’t wait!

A delightful early millefiori glass bead necklace. The larger beads at the centre have a matte surface with some of the smaller beads having a slight sheen to the surface. The beads are graduated and full of lovely vibrant canes. The beads are separated by small green spacer beads - the knotting is old, but is still in very good condition and is still pretty tightly still in place-which again is rare for a necklace from the 1920’a. The necklace closes with a gold metal hinged clip.This measures just at about 32” in length. The largest centre bead measures just at 1 inch length, and 2/3” in height. This piece has a HUGE chubby focal bead. Please examine each picture and video so you can see what a gorgeous piece this one is. When this piece came into my possession, it was strung on old fashioned string and was really needing some TLC. I am an avid Moretti collector and these beads are in excellent condition. I lovingly cleaned and restrung this piece on a stainless steel string that’s incased in a flexible plastic. This necklace looks to be in excellent condition. These Murano Glass Beads contain either 14k gold foil or sterling silver foil inside the beads and are no longer made in Italy. Also, this piece has chunks of golden cats eye beads, which are very incredibly hard to find. lol. Trust me, I know. I had been looking for years when I came across the gold ones that I used to make this piece. It’s important to mention that there are antique beads that are no longer made. Glass beads are just breathtaking. I used the large Murano oval crystal clear with aqua detail as the main focus. Then, I added handmade Seaglass 6mm beads and separating those Seaglass beads, there are tiny swarovski crystals. The clasp is a HEAVY solid sterling silver 925 OVAL that is adorned in Mother of Pearl Focal point. This is a statement piece for sure. Can be made larger.

I used the large Pink and Blue Murano Glass lentil Lampwork beads to make this necklace crystals. The necklace is 16” long, but there is a 2” extender on the clasp that brings it to 18”. I can make larger for an additional change by adding the Murano Lampwork beads.
